I just thought its weird, i havent had to topp off my water for the past couple days:confused: i did my 5 gall water change on friday so that was three days ago and i usually have to top off about once every other day. This is just really strange, only thing that has changed is that the skimmer has been turned off because it's been acting up really bad. But other than that everything is normal.

What could make the water not evaporate, im very puzzled here.

if i had done this thread it would have read more like

"My tanks are no longer evaporating! What am I doing right?" :) Then again I have an auto top off system sitting in a box, so whose fault is it that I have to fill the tanks?

My brother's of course. :) - he lacks a 3reef account so I pick on him when I want. :)

Sorry, I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I am leaving on Thursday for a week's long vacation and the idea of my house sitter not having to top off as much is appealing.

So with an average bio load, how long could a tank go skimmerless??
