Can anyone suggest a good testing kit. I am setting up a 36 bow with sump/fuge and plan on fish and softies to begin. I would like a kit that can grow with the tank.

    Thanks

I have an API master kit for ammonia nitrites nitrates & ph, it's nice they all come together but is sometimes hard to read colors.

I've got red sea for mag, it's a nice kit but a pain to do, just takes forever.

Salifert for alk and I love it. Will probably only buy these from now on.

Hanna testers are awesome too if you can afford them

I hate reading the colors. Some of them are just to close to together. I have to always have my wife look/guess as well. ;D

I use the RedSea Pro-alk/ca/mag. Like it a lot. Previously it was API.
