For top of's i use water i get from the water mechines outside publix they have like 5 stages of water filtering including RO as one but no DI i read from another threand that the DI part takes out some stuff that feeds algae blooms so is there any water i could get with out buying a RO/DI filter (getting one sooner or later) what about distilled water i could get jugs of that insted or is just RO better than distilled

Honestly its going to be hard to say without you testing the water with a tds meter... The RO will probably be lower unless they havent changed their filters in a while

I'm not so sure. Theoretically, distilled water should be pure H2O, it is evaporated and condensed. Of course, there may be practical issues and problems with both.
