My 2 cents. I have the 1 inch SCWD T 'd into 2 3/4 outlets per side. It is currently pushed in a close loop at 900 GPH (estimate). I have all 4 outlets end in locline which gives me good flexibility with direction.

I'm happy with the overall design and the SCWD is very quiet. It would probably help you with your issue of needing the T valve since it handles much higher pressures.

For all of you scwd runners, the question is what pump are you running through them and what is the wattage consumption, i was looking into them for a closed loop system but deceided to go with 4 MJ's with DIY mods as for all 4 of them the total wattage 84 watts.
when i was lookin at pumps for SCWD lookin at 250+watts X 2 I figured for the money it would be worth it to use the disposable MJ's im still in the process of modding them and setting up my new DT so I still may go back to original design with 2 SCWD's but im playing around with a design for a cross between closed loop and wavebox. since the tank is empty and brand new I cant wait to DRILL AND MOD muahahaha
