    dont buy it, it takes a lot to get it going right! If your looking for a HoB skimmer look at a bac pak,aqua c or a Octopus

    If you're putting it in sump,it will work fine.Using it as hob then you will be constantly adjusting it,thats the only problem I had with mine,now I don't have to touch it after putting it in the sump other than dumping the skimmate every couple of days.Good skimmer for the money.

    Even putting it in the sump it still needs constant adjustment. We got ours for the right price (free) and it was better than nothing. We have since upgraded and the amount of skimmate that we get now is incredible compared to the coralife

    Uh, this is the REEF LIGHTING forum.....

    I am sure a mod will move it but until then I would take a SS150 over a Bak Pak...CPR just drops the ball on that skimmer, IME worthless even compared to the Coralife one...

    What size tank are we talking about Wayne? Sump? Bioload? Corals? Budget?
