I bought a tank off a lady that had gotten tb from cleaning her fowlr tank, she ran her finger around the edge to knock off the saltcreep and got a little slice from the edge.I got to hear a nice long story about her hospital stay, she also had lots of pics of her "infection"that i wished i never seen

The potential for getting this absolutely scares the bejesus out of me. That, along with accidental palytoxin poisoning, are by far the worst fears I have about my tank.

I'm surprised folks don't wash their hands after having them in the tanks.

Maybe they do but it is already in their bloodstream and their immune system is weak.

    I always anti-bacterialize after.

Meh I just wash my hands afterwards, gloves are too clumsy. Can't stop living just because you could get lesions on your hands if you have an open cut and recently had chemo.

please excuse wrong words, I posted this from my phone that auto "corrects."
