I have had a Welso for about a year. In the last few months it has been shriveling up and pulling away from its skeleton. Ive tried moving it to different places in the tank but it continues to decline in health. Anybody have this happen or know what's goin on?

Check your parameters especially calcium. These open brains are usually like pigeons in the tank as they are usually the first ones to let you know there is a problem. Also these do best on the SB. If they are too close to rocks they could be damaged. Do the feeding tentacles come out at night? If they do you can try to feed it. Pellets or most other fish food may be used but not too much at one time and only feed twice a week at the most good luck.8)How about a pic?

The tentacles haven't came out for awhile. I don't have a calcium test. But my LFS might do it for me. I'll get a pic here soon. It's been on the sand bed

Quite possibly a parameter issue and/or placement issues.

It looks like you have it on a rock somewhere high in the tank? These guys should be on the sandbed, low in the tank. Sometimes they even need to be partially shaded if you have intense lighting.

A full list of parameters would be helpful.

I put it up on a rock for the photo. Usually its on the sand bed. I have 110 high and a 4 bulb t5 light. I will work on getting Params up
