I have a 72 G FOWLR tank. Currently I am running a Fluval 406 canister filter with 2 hydor 1050 circulation pumps and a sea clone 150 protein skimmer. I'm fairly new to this hobby and decided I wanted a sump with a refugium.
I have a Eshopps RS-75 sump and a empty 10 G tank. My question is is it possible to use the 10 G tank as the Fuge and hook it into the Sump. I also have a Mag 7 as my return pump.

Possible, of course. Easy, maybe not. A couple of quick options that come to mind are drilling through both tanks so flow goes from the sump to the fuge and then maybe again back to the sump to be pumped into the DT. If you did not want to drill the tanks, then I think both tanks are about the same height so you could either buy or make an overflow box for water to get from the sump to the fuge. You may still then need to add a wall in the 10g for the return pump.

What may be even easier if you could find a buyer for your RS and get an Eshopps refugium. I have the R-200 and love it. If you are up to the task of making the sump & 10gal work, go for it! If not, maybe go for my last option :)
