    that is bubble algae....Dont pop it inside the tank unless you want A LOT of bubble algae. What i normally do is use a siphon hose and start sucking out some water right over it and pop it so that all the contents just get sucked right up into the siphon.

    Mine picked off pretty easy but true you don't want to pop it. Mine with the picking didn't pop, just take your time and get under it to remove it!
