    So I found this in my tank after I get off work

    I just added about 2 hermit crabs, 2 bumblebee snails and 1 camel shrimp along with a pink and blue spotted goby... Can anyone tell what it is it what ate it?? The only other things I have in my tank are an coral beauty angel ad a yellow tang

    It looks like the hermit simply molted. It should be just fine. Crustaceans shed their exoskeleton from time to time so seeing their "skins" like that is totally normal.

    Ok great, I saw it and instantly though my coral beauty ate my shrimp haha good to know he is just molting, yay for healthy hermits

    it wouldn't hurt to have some slightly bigger empty shells in the tank just in case they need to move, but they can molt several times before outgrowing their home (shell) ;D
