    I picked up a 3” ORA miami orchid frag for my 40 breeder and a 20lb bag of sand from my LFS. About $90 in total. The sand is for a 10 gallon I’m setting up for a little mantis shrimp.

    wow well i got free sand from the beach (dont like it anymore it looks ugly) and free rock from my uncle who had it from when one of his friends broke down his tank

    $40 for tank/stand/lights/filter/salt It was a great deal really.... One of our friends roommates skipped out on rent and the fish tank was left behind so I got it cheap.

    ~$80 for the HOB skimmer I have
    ~$40 for another drum of salt
    ~$120 for my 40lbs of LR

    Will be spending more very soon on better lighting, some more sand and maybe a mushroom :D
