Hello, I have a biocube 29 gallon, Currently I have nothing in there, besides harmit crab and couple of snails.

Anyway, I had this tank set up for 9 months now, and am currently wondering what fish I should add.

I want to add a big..? fish? maybe like 1 or 2 standing out fish, well big ehough to be okay in 29.
So like dwarf lion fish, but I heard they stick around rocks almost most of the time. What fish do you think will be really stand out fish, for 29 gallon?
By the way, since i have no corals in there also, reef unsafe fish is taken into suggestion also. I kinda wanted to have lion fish in the tank by him self, but apprently his too small.

    Thanks

The biggest centerpiece fish you could get away with would probably be some of the dwarf angels.

I dont see why you could not put a dwarf lion in a 29g as long as you have a skimmer and do frequent water changes. The other lions are definately too big, but dwarf should be fine. They do hide out a little more around rocks and are not all that active.....

If you are wanting fish that will be different, look into anglers! They are very cool looking. Not active fish but fish you dont see much! Wartskin anglers are my favorite!

Do you have any idea what you are looking for? Various gobies and blennys would go well, can always do clowns,

I have a coral beauty. I'm not sure on how many dwarf angels you can have, as it is suggested to not have more than one angel of the same species or else they will fight, which is still possible if you have multiple angels in general. :/ I wanted to have the CB & a Red stripe angel, but many people suggested I shouldn't do it. For a 29 I would only have 1 dwarf angel. Even 2 angels I wanted for the 55g I will have is pushing it.

If you wanted you could go with gobies instead of the clowns, or firefish. OR even one goby in addition to the dwarf angel & 2 clowns. That would be about max occupancy though. (You could have of about 1" fish for 2g of SW. as a rule of thumb)
