    Do any of you know what this may be? I got some chaeto today with some pods. But there is this strange thing that I think may have been an anemone. I put the bag of chaeto into a glass bowl and I sucked the pods out because I didn't want whatever this is in my tank. Is seems to have stripes. If it is a pest anemone, I hope I didn't suck up any spores...

    rinse the chaeto in fresh water. It'll kill a bunch of unwanteds

    Looks like dead cheato to me also. You don't want it in your tank. No need to add detritus in if you can avoid it.
