What is a RODI

    Been having a look at a couple of RODI's and still can't determine what on earth they do. Can some please break it down and let me know

    A good should have the following filtration devices:

    Sediment Filter: traps sediment (particles) according to it's rating (1 micron is good).

    Carbon Block Filter: removes the chlorine from your water (especially needed for tap water) and also helps traps particles that might get by your sediment filter.

    RO Membrane: Remove TDS from water, the higher the rejection rating the better i.e. 99% is great.

    D/I Resin: removes positively and negatively charged ions (elements) from the water.
