I have a bunch of small white worm like looking things on my glass. I tried to get a picture of them but they are to small to show up in it. They are moving around and are about a 16th of an inch a piece or smaller. Any ideas what these are I was worried maybe they were ick or something I got no clue please help. :-/

They are called Spirorbidae worms and the are completely harmless. They are filter feeders!

I'd have to see a picture to have a chance of identifying it!

The pictures don't help me out that much! They are rather blurry. Can you describe them for me? Do they move? Are they all over your tank? can you see them night and day? Can you give me a better description?

How old is your tank? Cause it might be the first copepod breakout. If thats the case give it a couple of days and they will find a place to hide. The are not bad creatures just a normal part of your aquariums fauna.

It could be a form of eggs. Like Marc said some type of isopod or copopod, or even a Stomatella snail.

My tank is about three months old they do move i'm hoping it is copods, they are in one group about 5 to 6 inches around on the glass and some of them have actually left already I was just worried that it was ick as I've heard they form on the glass and then go to the fish but karma to both of you and thanks for the Info I know the pics were blurry I had to take the picture through a magnifying glass to see them . Thanks again Jay::)

You won't be able to see ich on your glass, IMO. Atleast I've never seen it...
I'm sure it is some type of pod...
