    Hi,

I picked up some new live rock today and have noticed lots of hitch hikers. Two I need help identifying. The second picture I think is a polyp, but the first one I have no idea what it is and it is kinda creeping me out! The picture is blurry because it's hard to take a good pic with a not so great camera, but I'll try to describe it as well (there are actually two of them in the same rock).

They are brown/purple/dark blue and look like they have slight striping on them that is the same color, but a shade darker. They are coming out of the rock, but what I can see of them is shaped like a "U." There is a straight, vertical middle and on each end a tube like thing sticking straight up. When I leaned over the tank they moved quickly and kind of shrank; trying to hide from me I guess.

Any help or ideas would be great. Anything at all! If you even take a guess, then I can do research about it online.

    Thank you!

Can you take a better pic? That is way too blurry to tell.

I'll try...I'm totally not skilled at photography...

Okay, here they are. Hopefully these are a bit better.

Haha Yes! LOL I wanted just one fake seaweed...okay!?! I know it's against the norm, but that's the way I do things. :)

As far as the picture goes, I don't think I can get a better one. What I'm trying to get is at the back of the tank and is kind of small. But I don't think it's a feather duster worm because I have a ton of those, and this looks different, but who knows?! The tubing looks soft and it's kind of fat and bulging, like a snake that just ate something, and I've also never seen any dusters come out of it.

    Thanks for all the ideas!
