    The past few weeks, we have had a new addition to my husbands tank.. Its yellow I'm assuming algae.. Its fuzzy and fingerlike, and ideas what it is, and is it good, bad? Please Help!

    just a sponge. nothing to worry about unless u dont like it then expose it to air and scrape it off.

    +1 Sponge, I have some in my tank too on a certain rock. Its a brighter yellow than yours. I think its cool

    Looks like a yellow encrusting sponge, they mostly feed on dead bacteria and a small amount of organics they are very beneficial in aquaria.
