Me too; although they are one of the worst when it comes to nipping corals from what I understand. I would only add one if it was only going to be a FOWLR.

+1! Yup, me too. I've heard they're very nippy with corals too , but you may be lucky to get one that doesn't mind corals alot. Never heard of it though

Yes. I have no corals in my tank. Haven't really moved onto that step. I did like the coral angel they had. I think that was the name.

And I know there are lots to choose from I just really like clownfish. Maybe I'll have to find a different type of orange fish.

As did I when I started up my 55; now I have 20+ different corals ;)

Plan on adding corals in the feature just so you don't add a fish or invert now that you will regret. From everything I have found, your best bet on Dwarf Angels are either Flame Angel or Coral Beauty. However it still comes down to the individual fish. It may be fine for years, and then one day go rogue. I myself am adding a Flame Angel to my reef though...

Well I would love to add coral one day, because the tanks are beautiful with them. This already looks so much better than my fresh water. :) Maybe coral will be in the future, when I have more money and not in college. lol.

I really like the Flame Angel and Coral Beauty. Just do not know which one I would prefer....lol.

i think you should purchase the fish that you fancy most, if you decide to get corals in the future, any fish can be removed from a tank.....

Coral Beauty's are about half the price of FA, so if you can't decide, than that could help make the decision :) If you do get one, just make sure you witness it eating prepared food at the LFS. If the LFS allows it, after witnessing it eat, put a deposit or buy it in full and leave it there for a week or two (or whatever they allow). When you go back, make sure it is still eating. Dwarf Angels can be tough to get eating prepared foods, so that is why I am recommending this.

How long was the tank setup for prior? I only ask as the live rock should be well established as well so they can pick off the rocks all day.

Well I guess that does make my decision a little easier. lol. I will have to see if my LFS will let me do that. Hopefully they will, but we really only have one fish store around here that sells salt water fish here. The rest are an hour to two hours away.

They had it running for three years before I bought the set up from them. But right now it has algae on it.
