Calcium, alkalinity and magnesium is all for me. :)

I don't like the "trace elements" mixtures, I don't like adding anything I can't test for. How can you be sure you're not adding too much of something that isn't getting used in your tank? I just generally question their effectiveness.

I add ZoPlan occasionally, my homemade fish mush has rotifers, Cyclo-Peze in it. I target feed button polyps, frogspawn, lobophyllia and brain corals, sun coral with a mix of saltwater, cyclo-peze and mysis shrimp, a couple times a week and have seen good growth with that. I dose alk. builder and calcium builder as needed

Buy all the tests you can and dose what those tests can test for. I would not dose any of the pre-mixes with a combo of different things in them. Does everything individually.

I have always dosed the usually, Ca, Alk and Mg, do regular water changes but now have just started to dose Kent Reef Vite and Essential Elements. I also just bought some cylopeeze to see how that works. I noticed one week when I doubled the water change that my corals colored up much more nicely. I linked this to a lack of certain trace elements, so I started to dose the coral vite and essential elements. I'll see how this works. I also use SPS Grow.

I dose CA daily. Alk nightly.

I turn my skimmer off when I dose the following:

    Mg ~monthly
    I dose phyto 3x week
    I "dose" cyclo-pleeze 3x week

But if we're counting cyclo-pleeze and phyto as dosing then I also dose home made fish food 2x week.

And every now and then I dose several fish food pellets ;D

That's it. Nothing else. I do water changes ~2-3x year. 10% each time.
