    I'm usually pretty good at IDing things in my tank these days...but i got home today and noticed THIS on my yellow scroll...its bright blue...must be some kind of algae because it doesnt respond to touch...but i've never seen anything blue like this....any ideas? good? bad? should i remove it? i've never seen it before today, and i dont have it anywhere else....yet...but i'm kinda scared..please help asap

    It looks like some kind of Nudi to me, but I really cannot tell with out a little better picture.

    no, its not a nudi...im fairly confident that it is a type of algae...but I dont know what kind......that pic is a macro pic taken with a canon powershot sx20 IS....it doesnt get much more better than that... i think its super clear from the pic...i just cant ID it to know if its a bad algae that may spread like wild fire...or a pretty blue algae that will only grow moderately..lol

    it looks like blue feathers...but its not a feather duster cuz i've touched it with a feeding probe and they dont move
