I'm at the good ol' crossroads as of what to add to my 300DD. I have some ideas as to what I want for my "big" fish, but not sure what I want to put in as far as a schooling group. I thought of adding about five or so Lemon Chromis to the three Blue Reefs I already have in there, or drop some coin and add six or so Fathead Sunburst Anthias? Other than money, are there any pros v cons on the Anthias? I was also thinking of adding three Banner fish or three Pearlscale Butterflies; one or the other not six total.. I have heard Bannerfish are hard to keep. Also need to mention I have a Picasso Trigger in there and fear he will try to attack the Banner fish's dorsal fin.. I'm debating taking out the trigger in fear of him disrupting the harmony in the tank.

hmmm.....why not just add some more blue reefs as far as the schooling goes. I absolutely love bannerfish - probably one of my favorites in the hobby. If I had to choose, I'd forgo the huma for a trio of banners - I think that would look so cool! Then you also may be able to have some inverts in there again to help with clean up. I'm not sure of their hardiness - I've not read where they are particularly sensitive but the Moorish idol (kind of similar) is known to be very hard to keep long term.

YES, I sold my reef tank and moved all the fish over. Also moved over two fire shrimp and a peppermint. The first fire shrimp made it, I guess the trigger was sidetracked. The second fire shrimp didn't go so well. I watched him get decimated to meer antennas before he hit the sand! I found a piece of the peppermint the next morning. Just for the record I had no idea he was going to do that to my shrimp until it was too late..
