What to populate with?

So I understand now pods just come. What other stuff is needed for a healthy fuge. Do you need sand sifters, snails, worms??? Other than your algae, is there anything you put in your fuge for a healthy sand bed/pod population???

I think you are venturing into the realm of personal choice.

I use a deep sand bed in my fuge, originally stocked with live sand. I used a little cheato (not much since I prefer to perk through 10 percent of my tanks volume once an hour – the 10/1 method) cheato likes to be tossed about, but will work in either. I use a variety of macro’s (I like to use Caulerpa since I can harvest it for tang feeding), a couple shrimp and few turbo’s. It’s really what ever works for you.
