Whats this??! Hydroids?

    they have been growing since I started the tank.
    They came with the LR and since I didn't know what it was I didn't want to remove them..

    They now have like a colony and have gotten a bit bigger but in one of the pictures under the ricordea you can see one growing :eek:

    What are they?

    NO!!!!!! IT"S WORSE!!!!!!! THE DREADED FEATHER DUSTER!!!!! THEY ARE EVIL!!!.........No seriously I'm just kidding. They're harmless. You can tell by the feather like cross sections on the head. Hydroids have straight tentacle like objects coming from the center. Wave your prod stick by them, if they suck in very fast, then feather dusters it is. Congrats. They are good filter feeders.

    LOL I started getting worried there!! 8)

    But yea if they are good and its worth having in the tank :)

    And yea sometimes i feed the ricordea and it hides instantly !

    So yea Feather dusters they are !
