    i was just about to go to sleep when i decided to have a look in my tank with a little light (yes i have a 55G next to my bed lol) i know its jew for a clean which i was gunna do tomorro but i noticed something funny growing off of some shells and off the live sand it self its looks like really fine string and its white it wasnt there in the day

    any ideas?

    B.T.W the pics arnt very good as i do have a HD camara but im limeted to the size of file i can put on here

    Looks like some kind of bacteria bloom, due to something, is that brown orange color thing part of a star? their is something definitely on the sand.

    yea its just a bit of brown algea on the sand as i said its jew for a clean as my CUC are usless but fun to watch when there awake lol but about the star bit it doesnt look like it but its only out at night so ill have a look again tonight and see if i can get some more pics
