Been riding for most of my life. However, haven't gone the last two years...so I'm hoping to get back out there this year. I just need new gear and certain things, ahem....reef tanks..., keep getting in the way of those financials, haha.

I do love to ride though, big mountain free riding...wide open and fast ;D

Congrats on the first day out... Exciting. Didn't realize you had mountains in MI. LOL

I was big into snowboarding for a long time, used to get around 30 days a year. Now I just complain about how much my knee hurts instead.

Grand Targhee resort in Alta, Wyoming is my stomping grounds. Been riding almost 20 years now. Saying that makes me feel old...

I found it impossible to switch from Ski's to Board. Maybe it was the mental from going from Blacks to the bunny slope.

Its super hard to go from one to another. If you are gunna learn to board its easier to start with boarding. Once your used to going down straight and then try to stand sideways it jacks it all up. Ive personally never skied. Been boarding since 14 n never looked back!

Sorry couldn't disagree with you more. I skied for 5 years and have been snowboarding for the last 18 years. It is super easy to go from one to the other, stopping is the same style. same with riding down the hill. Only difference is you have your feet more securely locked in to a board versus two flimsy skiis which can fall off when you bail. JM2C
