OK. My equipement is listed down below. I am looking to upgrade. I have a generic piece of junk skimmer that needs to go. Eventually, I am going to want a reef tank (the full meal deal). What can you recommend? I would appreciate any help at all. Thanks. John.

Oh, I am upgrading my fuge to 30 gallons and I have a clearance of 29 inches underneath the tank.

I have the coralife supper skimmer 65gal on my 75gal. It works very very well. Also don't have the a sump, so maybe go up a size. the next one is a 125.

AquaC EV Series --- Biggest your sump will handle.

Consider when purchasing you may be moving up to a larger tank one day...

i ran a coralife super skimmer 125, and it ran extremely well for a skimmer in the $120 to $140 range, but i recently upgraded to an aquac ev 180

$200 would be comfortable. $400 if absolutely necessary (I would have to put it off a month or so)

I want a lot of corals. Maybe 20 to 25 inches of fish if I can get away with it. That means one more good sized one and let them grow.

But I do want SPS and LPS (is that what they are called?). I know NOTHING about them. Just a little about fish and inverts.

The way I do things, I tend to go all out. That means a show quality tank.

You may want to peruse through the threads in this particular forum. There are quite a few threads posted that list everyone's skimmer preference and why they prefer their particular brand. Good luck!
