    Sorry to here about your clown. :'( As for your question "why a fish, properly acclimated, would get ich" Well just acclimating a fish will not do anything to prevent ich if the fish is already infected. Quarantining your fish and observing and treating them while in quarantine is the best way to prevent introducing an infected fish into your display tank. I do have a mated pair of wild caught true perculas and so far they are doing fine I have had them for about 3 months.

    Hmm...well i had them for about 1 week before i saw anything...i think they might have had it...but probably just got stressed...i even saw some ich larva on the frong glass...i might move my corals and such and FREAKING KILL THEM...but i cant...damm i hate u ich!...HATE U!

    Yep, correctly called Theronts :)

    Although I am pretty sure it was not Ich larvae that was seen as theronts are only 50-60 microns in size

    Hmm ic...well it was some type of small white organism...maybe the ich itself...well needless to day i smushed them...

    They were probably baby copepods that got smooshed then..

    I have lots of them in my tank :)

    or some kind of fish or snail eggs...

    I just wanted to make sure I do not misunderstand ich totally ;)

    I know freshwater ich very well, but hardly know anything about marine ich. So I was a little startled to hear about ich larva big enough....
    I hope I'll never have to get into that subject in my tanks.
