    Hey all,
I have had a number of bad things happen within the last 24 hours in my tank. :-/
For starters I have this white goo I discovered on the back of one of my rocks and I have no idea what it is.[IMG] http://imgur.com/TI8VYLn

My six-line wrasse died for no apparent reason, the only thing that had happened to my tank recently was a new power head to increase flow. Can this kill a fish? :-[

Found some healthy looking Aptasia and was wondering if there are methods to killing it that don't involve heading to the store :)

    Thanks

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
The white is a harmless sponge.

No higher flow did not kill the wrasse.

You can try a syringe of boiling water. I suggest you buy some Kalkwasser.

+1 on ID. if the apitasia is small enough i have had luck with lemon juice. do a full water test to see where the problem is.
