white stuff?

this has been going on even before i got my LR so its not that but about ever hour i have to brush down the tank with my mag-float because thin white stuff keeps gathering in certain places of the tank. anyone know what this is?

At first i thought it was just salt creep but its inside the tank.

Pics would help a lot. Are you doing water changes? If so what type of chlorine remover are you using?
Is the white stuff like spots or a film?

 

no its more a film. not everywhere but in certain places. No im not doing water changes. The tank is 3 days old. am i supposed to be? The remover im using is called NovAqua+

 

i cant get too good of a pic right now cause i cleaned it off right before i thought about making this thread

 

if its only 3 days old i wouldn't worry too much imo,just wait until it turns brown lol

 

Hmm by chance the salt you used instead of bein real soft and flowing like new sugar.. Was it like a rock and hafta break it apart..?? I know i have used salt that was like that and when added to tank there was some white undisolved stuff that would settle every where...
