I just purchased a Trigger for my 75g aquarium. Just a bit curious about it. I've already noticed how active he is. But my main concern is if hes going to eat all my snails, shrimp and crabs. He doesnt seem to bother my zooantropods or mushrooms or even the other fish wich include 2 clowns, damsel, firefish or 2 Banggai Cardinals. All i've seen is one of my shrimp seem to be missing. Thanks for any help/advice.

well here's what i found in a very quick search on my favorite search engine...

Link: FreshMarine.com - White Tip Trigger Fish - Sufflamen chrysopterus - White Tail - Halfmoon - Buy Cheap Whitetip Triggerfish at Wholesale

From what i read yeah your shrimp was dinner and further reading your finger's to can be a tasty snack for this guy...If you was looking for reef compatability i am sorry this is not one..

There are only a small few that are even close to being reef safe And even then pending temperment will make quick work of inverts..

Here's a a list of could be reef Safe triggers pending temperment.
    Pink tail
    Sargassium
    Crosshatch
    Blue chin/jaw
    niger trigger

    I hope this Help's

    Best of luck..!!

when in doubt pick up a guide book on marine fishes by Scott W. Michael.. It has a pretty good amount of fishes in with detailed info on them also from reef compatability to how hardy there are.. I call it the Fish bible and bring it with me when at my lfs..

Just some more info that may help your next fish purchace..

    Best of luck..

IMO no triggerfish could fit in a 4 foot tank. Filefish are nice and smaller/less aggressive than triggerfish.
