    I had a pair forever ago, very cool and personable fish. not too ugly either if you get them small and feed good foods (I had mine on hikari gold "red" formula for almost 2 years).

    Thats a beautiful fish, I might actually buy one of those. The man bred colors look horrible, no offense oscar owners, I'm sure alot of you would think me having goldfish is stupid.

    Oscar's are a great fish. I used to have them, had one in a 55 long (in hindsight it was undersized for these three)with a Jack Dempsey and a Managuense and they were all about 10 years old and had been together since they were just a couple of inches long.

    I bought some feeders from one of the big box pet stores and something just went south and I lost them all within the next 2-3 days.

    I still have a 46G freshwater with a green terror, blood parrot and turquoise severum in it but they don't get live feeders for fear of a repeat.
