why i love 3reef!

one of the main reasons i love 3reef is because even though i am only 14, people that are older than me instead of not listening actually listen to what i have to say. why does everyone else love 3reef?

 

I love 3reef because without it I would never have a nice tank and would blow alot of money on stuff I dont need

 

i love 3reef because the community is calm, patient, and even tempered for the most part. there is not alot of bashing on these forums as i see on others. everyone seemingly gets along well with one another and most importantly the information keeps flowing.

this website has more information, more resources, and more experienced people than you'll ever find in a LFS. i know alot of people rely on their LFS for answers to their tank but with 3reef its just not necessary. this think tank is alot bigger than one or two people at your LFS

edit: +1 to newreef15 - yes without 3reef we would all be broke (if not already )

 

I love 3reef cuz u get great advice and meet people (swagger frag swap) so you know you are not alone!

 

I love 3reef because it's in my top three of reef related sites. O, 3reef is number 1.

3reef has the market on friendliness. Other reef forums don't come close! I've always been against replies scolding the poster to "do a search" first before asking a question. Here on 3reef, you can ask what you like, and you'll get a good response.

In addition, the mods on 3reef do their best to curtail the occasional "off" remark, and work very hard to keep it a very friendly place. :

Actually, what I've found is a great bunch of caring people. Everything from family & loved ones; the environment to the status of the economy & of course: REEFING!!.
People here come together of course to learn. I've saved money just following the threads. It's made this hobby alot more enjoying & gratifying for myself.
I was especially surprised when some of the more experienced would take the time to walk a beginner/newb through any problem (usually lol).
Some of the other sites were just a mess. You couldn't get a word in. Or 2 or 3 people tag-teamed every post, etc. Its more ego issue and I don't know, "vanity"? Thats not fun & I figured more trouble than its worth. I don't need more aggravation in my life.
I come to 3reef to gain experience & to try & help where I can. For me, its my getaway aside from my tanks. 8)

 

We have a non judgmental forum to learn and share info and have a second or third family.

The thing I love about 3 reef is that

whilst at times, I may not always be easy to get along with
and its true to say that in real life, I may not have chosen you all as friends
I have none the less , over the last 12 months, come to consider you all, as people I am aware of
