    Wiigelec's 29 Gallon Tanks Specs:

    Tank:
    29 gallon glass tank

Current USA Nova Extreme 2X24W T5 HO

    15# CaribSea Aragamax 0.5 - 1.0mm araganite

    ~250 GPH@5' head (Mag 5)

    Chemistry:
    Temp - 76 dF
SG - 1.025 (Instant Ocean salt)

    CleanUpCrew:
CleanUpCrew includes ~10 Nerite snails and ~25 Cerith snails (and 1 Nassarius that snuck in) from reefcleaners.org (great site!).

    Plans for the Tank:
Right now I plan on a simple fish and reef tank. Fish include a Green Chromis and a Clownfish. Corals include low-light soft corals such as mushrooms and zoanthids.

    Notes:
I hadn't originally planned on doing a sump which is why I have a HOB skimmer and power filter. After spending some time on 3reef I decided to to do a sump (thanks alot!). The main reasons for doing a sump were to get the equipment out of the display tank and the ability to do top-offs / water changes / additive dosing outside of the display tank.

    Upgrades:
In such a small tank the only real upgrade is a larger tank! In this tank though possibly upgrade the flow to Korelias and the lighting to metal halide to grow some more advanced SPS corals.

Looks great. Can't wait to see it fully cycled and stocked.
However, your sump seems pretty full. If current goes, you may have to do some cleaning up.

    Thanks for the kind words!

The tank has been running for nearly two months now. It has cycled and now I am riding the diatom/algae wave. Added the CleanUpCrew about two weeks ago and they are doing a wonderful job. Just waiting to get to a fish store to buy a chromis.

No problem there, plenty of room for everything to drain down.
