Tonight I decided to shine a light on my tank at night. I saw a long worm type thing pull itself out of the sand, and back under my mushroom. It was a few inches long fully extended, and my guess is its living inside or under my mushroom coral. I will attempt to get a picture, but its doubtful. It was long and tubular, not spiny or anything smooth, and it expands and contracts. Only comes out at night.

It has the behavior of a spoon worm, but it seemed very thick. Are these good or bad?

I have them too in my tank. Don't seem to do anything to the coral. Looks like it eats stuff off the floor or rock.
