Anything driving you tward acrylic? You could get a brand new glass tank for not much more then this would think.. I forget what I paid for mine new but it might have been $100 more and it was perfect right out of the box. Just my two cents..

Cool. I'm just hoping that they'll be easy to remove, I don't want to get something that will be hopeless. Kinda want to be educated before I take a look at this thing.

Anyone else have some first hand experience taking scratches out of acrylic tanks?

Where? All the LFS around here I've seen are like $300-400 for a 120. Tank alone. Drilled, bulkheads, overflows, etc. included the tank alone is $550 +

My Bad-- Mine is not drilled. That adds to the cost a tad!

4 years ago i got a 90 for 300(that was from a lfs that sold stuff dirt cheap compared to others, run by one gun who just like fish lol) i think a 120 now would be atleast 500 around where i live.

i would sand that stand down and repaint it. not a fan of the paint job in the least.

No worries. This has dual internal overflows with bulkheads and plumbing included.... so it kind of caught my eye :)

Thanks! Seems like a lot of work but may be worth it. I'm going to look at the tank today to see if it's something worth working on.
