on my local craigslist I found an add and contacted them. for $50 they want to sell:

    Inhabitants of Reef Aquarium

    1 – Yellow Tail Damsel
    2 – Striped Damsels
    1 – Domino Damsel
    1 – Cleaner Shrimp
    1 – Square Back Anthis
1 – LARGE Long Tentacle Anenome
    2 – Bristle Starfish
    ALL Live Rock (60lbs)

    There also maybe
    2 – Peppermint Shrimp
    1 – Goby & Goby Shrimp
    1 – Emerald Crab

I do not want the damsels but for $50 you really cant go wrong with just the rock alone... sound like something you would do, or just forget it.

60lbs of LR for that price is a steal to begin with. I would see if I could go and check the tank out before you buy anything. If it all looks good and healthy, and if you have room for it, then I would say go for it.

I have room for and need some more LR so that part I want. I however do not want or need the fish. so they would go to the fish store. they are suppose to send me a picture of it first. then go look.

I would think if everything looks good and your LFS will take the fish for store credit, then go for it. Heck, with that amount of fish, you might get a nice little store credit.

even so...bleach the LR and its still a deal. less than a buck a lb for base rock is still pretty good. I've seen cleaners sold locally for 40 bucks.

    NO BRAINER....DO IT!

Keep in mind all of the work selling/giving away fish you don't want and cleaning the rocks etc. If you have plenty of time and not enough money this might be a good deal. :)
