    they can be, similar requirements to a mandarin, like most wrasses they eat pods, but these guys and also blue star leopard wrasses and potters wrasses, eat a lot of pods.

    look at a flame wrasse, melanurus, labouts fairy wrasse, and african mccoskerri flasher wrasse. all are amazing IMO

    is it gonna be a reef? because there are some awesome FOWLR wrasses.

    for example: formosa wrasse, twin spot, corris clown wrasse, dragon wrasse, harlequin tuskfish, and lyretail wrasse.

    if only you were close to me, there is a guy here selling a pair of rhomboid wrasse with a super male for half the price of a pair.
    almost grabbed it if only i don't have a pair of flame wrasse already.
