Hey guys. Just added a powder brown tang and hectors goby to the 90 gallon in which Jossmalo and I have joint custody of. We have a sixline wrasse that has been a model citizen throughout it's stay in the tank, but upon addition of the hectors goby he turned violent and has repeatedly attacked him. I thought for sure these two would get along fine. Should this pass or does the goby need to go back? Help!

6 lines can be mean little buggers...might have to take him back because the wrasse will kill him in less than a full day for sure

turn off the lights and leave them off for a couple days. While the lights are off rearrange your rocks a little.
The other thing I have done with an aggressive fish is tape a mirror up to the side of the tank. I had a yellow tang go bizarke and went after other fish. Someone told me to do that and he tired himself out after attacking his reflection.
Sometimes these help, other times not.
make sure you have hiding places for your fish

The goby is in hiding now, but if he comes out the wrasse is on him right away. I guess the rock could get moved around.

Good luck. I had a six line wrasse go after and kill a royal gramma and a signal goby. Now that's fifty dollars worth of fish so the six line went bye-bye.

I agree with the turning off the lights for a while option. Re-arranging some of the rocks may help, or may not. Just be careful, since in a fight between those fish the goby will lose, and may try to jump. So make sure your tank is covered in the mean time.
