But to help either way, we will need to know which Fairy Wrasse you are talking about. Some are fine in a 30, others need to be in a 125 gal...

I was thinking the orange back fairy wrasse and a male and female carpenters flasher. I currently have two tangerine clowns, royal gramma, chalk bass and a jewel blennie.

Thats alot of wrasse for a 66. May want to scale that down to 1 maybe two. wrasse are very active fish and will swim alot of real estate.

What about if I cut the female out or just go for two small fairy wrasses?

I actually think that would be fine for a 65. We are not talking about very large wrasses here. Another option would be to go with one of the following instead of the C. aurantidorsalis, as these are all smaller:

    C. lubbocki
    C. flavidorsalis
    C. adornatus
    C. marjorie

No, I was assuming you were set on the two flasher wrasses. You could certainly do 1-2 smaller Fairy Wrasses and 1-2 Flasher Wrasses (stick to 3 total though). I really like my Lubbock's Fairy, which is one of the smallest ones. Any of the others I mentioned would work as well. You would need to post in the thread that Cheryl linked earlier and ask Hunter for more specific info on which would be best to mix.
