Yea, I cant hardly wait. I am excited on getting it all hooked up and running so I can stabalize the tank a little better. Still waiting on the stand thou. I did order some corals from RocknReef and they were shipped today. I will be posting some progress pics as I get everthing coming together. ;D

    Reef Keeper Hooked up

Well I got up this morning and started hooking up the RKL. The hook up was pretty straight forward and fairly simple. Programing it was a little bit difficult for me. I started doing some searching on the web and went to digital aquatics and looked through their forums but didnt really find what I was looking for. I ended up finding something on Michigan reefers where someone walked through the multi timer set up. After that this thing is extremely simple to program once you start to understand it. Digital Aquatics should take note. The instructions leave a lot to be desired IMPO. Anyway......I have the MH's, T-5's, Moonlights, Heater, Fan, fuge light, Alk and Cal dosing pumps hooked up to it. Here are a couple of pics for you to look at. I also went to the LFS today and picked up 3 urchins today to help battle some GHA.

You know the problem with instructions is they are usually written by the individual who created the product. That individual tends to forget that no one else knows as much about the product as they do.

    Nice update Yamaharider
you might want to consider writing a review and some simple instructions on that controller
as you never know, someone on this site may enquire and it would be good to have easy to find guide for those people

hahaha...I agree with you 1000%. They should write a RKL programming for dummies :)

Thanks Steve. I am making myself some notes on everything I done to get it set up. I will try to put something together and post so it may make it a little easier for others.

I did get pretty agrivated with it. I started to call them for help but when I found the # I found out they are only open Mon- Fri. Thats when I got on line and figured it out. It is pretty easy once you understand the basics of it. I have been playing around with it all day. :) Its a pretty cool tool that I am hoping will help me stabalize the tank.
