Anyone ever have their tang fight their own reflection. I guess that's what he's doing. He flares up shakes back and forth at the glass like he's really angry then darts into the rocks.
I hope he's not going to stress himself to death.

Mine doesn't fight his reflection. But, it does front up on me when I'm standing there looking into my tank.

I had the same behaviour a few weeks ago when I added a new fish (Flasher Wrasse) to my tank. The yellow tang seemed to exhibit territorial behaviour towards its reflection. This wore off after a week. Did you add anything new to the aquarium to change the landscape or inhabitants lately?

No .. there hasn't been any new additions. I hope he stops cuz I'm sure it's adding to his stress level. The only change I've made is lowering my salinity over the past days from 1.026 , now 1.024.

As long as hes getting well it should be fine. I had a sixline that did that all the time until it was feeding time. Unfortunately he passed when a rock fell in my tank causing chaos.
