Do they make ball valves for clear vinyl hose?

Also the chalice is very similar to this one

Live Corals for Sale, Live Fish, and Cheap WYSIWYG Colonies. Chalices it's chalice 22

Does that mean it does not have a name?

Also it's a little broken have some cyano growth I've been fighting so I thought a refugium would help.

Also adding t5 would help with coloration a bit to the eye. I think I'm going to build the floating canopy during Xmas break and stain it to match the stand.

If not a ball valve on the hose, is there an adapter that goes from hose barb which i believe the mag seven output is to say a pvc threaded adapter?

Yes they do make ball valves for hose/tubing, just depends on what you have. And yes, they do make hose barb male adapters. May need to order one online though.

I absolutely love this tank. Thank you for sharing the pictures. I can probably ID the chalice for ya but you will need to send me a piece of it so I can look up close

I'm so glad you love my tank. Like anyone else look close long enough at your own tank and you see all the things you should move and change etc. I'll be home from college in two weeks and will update with some better pictures. All of those are taken by my mother who tries her best with her iPhone.

Would yo keep the vinyl hose or hard plumb the return?

Anyone have a pic or DIY of a hanging canopy?

Here is a picture of my old clam. Sadly it withered away when my old light fixture fell in the water and it went a while without proper lighting.
