Exactly. Well, Premium Aquatics uses UPS. I contacted them and I'm sure they'll make it right. Well, whenever ReefBrite can get them another shipment. They sell out quickly ReefBrite seems to have a hard time keeping up. I prefer FedEx any day. UPS has always, consistently screwed me. I use FedEx at work. I don't mess with UPS, they're brown for a reason.

 

That truely SUCKS and so does Brown! At least you got the T5's going...

Spoke with Premium Aquatics and they said I'm next in line for the next shipment. Could be this next week, the week after, not sure, they come in 2-3 unit batches from what they said. At least they're nice about it and making the situation right. UPS has no clue what happened or where they're at. That's a big shipment to lose, a 48" long double tube.

 

I guess that wait isn't too bad since the LEDs are so hard to find. But sorry you have to wait at all!

Dude.... I was thinking how hard is it to open and close your canopy?

Im having mine built and mine is nearly as high as yours and I was thinking opening up the damn door. Mine is similar style as yours.

 

Simple. It's not very heavy and the only PITA is the ceiling light in front of the tank - I have to move it as I open the canopy. Otherwise, it's cool. It will be a pain when the LED's get here as they have to mount on the front panel, which opens up, as they have nowhere else to go. Make sure you have enough ceiling clearance, mine clears by about 2 inches when I open it.

 

Annoyance one million and one. Interference from my electronic ballasts with my Apex. Temp probe goes whacky every time the halides kick in.

One million and two. My clownfish clouding my tank.

One million and three. The small fire in my canopy from the T5's which have now been unplugged.

I need a drink.

Good news is, the replacement for the lost LED's shipped out today and will arrive next Tuesday.

First off... the Maroon Clown had to go for the very reason. It didn't get better, it got worse. Worse yet, I'm not very good at training fish. He pissed me off bad. Had to drain the damn tank just to get him out.

Fires.... not cool.

Apex... WTF? What can you do about it. Is the controller right next to the ballast?
