    I'm working out the size of my canopy. It's going to need to be 18" tall inside, and I'm trying to get that height worked out with Ocea. Seems they don't like going over 14". I have confidence that my LFS will be able to work it out with them, though.

    These are the pendants I'm going to use - Sunlight Supply Lumen Max 3's.

    The ReefBrite LED strips will more than suffice. Each strip has a PAR rating double that of an ATI Blue Plus T5 Lamp with Reflector. So pretty much this one strip will be like 2 48" T5's. These are not just for color. The PAR output has been tested and proven.

    Changed my mind on the LumenMax 3 pendants. I bought a set of LumenMax Elite's :) Ocea also is taking care of the additional height of the canopy. 18" inside - so no worries on the pendants!

    those led strips are awesome. what happens if one burns out? do they have a 'replacement' plan?
