what kinda bulbs you gonna have???

Ive always wanted to have 20k or 14k's on right and left and 10 k in the center.... similar to the sun shining in.

Phoenix 14k bulbs on each side and a Bluelife SPS 14k in the center. Only doing that because I had 2 Phoenix bulbs on hand and a couple SPS bulbs on hand and didn't want to buy another expensive MH bulb - I'll see how it looks and go from there. I like the Phoenix 14k better than the Bluelife so I suspect the SPS bulb will go.

The middle pendant works out nicely as my tank is Eurobraced so no shadow!

A strip of glass around the edge of the tank at the top, instead of a black band across the middle of the tank, or glass strip through the middle to hold it together. So my tank has a 1.5" glass rim around the inside to keep it from bowing - leaving extra room to move stuff around and no band through the middle to block light or your arm when moving stuff in the tank.

oh my gosh, that's amazing! I didn't know they made tanks like that. I hate that stupid plastic band in the middle.

    Awesome for you!!

Still waiting on the tank. Estimate is next Saturday. Stand is being rebuilt as well, wasn't happy with the finish on the first go-around.

I received my 3rd LumenMax Elite and Vertex ballast. Picked up my 120 pounds of Samoa Pink sand as well. Very pretty sand - this is going to look awesome in the tank!

Ordered a set of Azoo fans for ventilation in the canopy. (2) 2 fan units - they push more than a 4 fan unit. Dr's Foster and Smith usually takes about 2 years to ship to me so ordering this Friday - I'll be lucky to have them next Monday. On top of that I will be adding a couple fans into the top of the canopy and drilling out holes throughout the back wall of the canopy.

You would, Kacy. You would.

This sounds like an awesome build I can't wait to see it up and running :) And even though I made that comment to Kacy, pink sand does look pretty cool :D
