    Well that sucks, but Neptune does not have many problems. Sucks when it's you. My doser went bad and BRS shipped one out today with a return label enclosed. At least I love it when it is dealt with promptly.

    Done with the Bullet 1 Skimmer. Ordered an I-Tech 100 cone today with Tunze Hydrofoamer.

    Specs:

    Model 100 Cone Skimmer

    * Cone Base: 6”
    * Cone Neck: 2 ¾”
    * Overall Height: 21 ½” (needs an extra ½” clearance for cup removal)
    * Footprint without pump: 8 ¾” x 6 ½”
    * Recommended Pump: Tunze 9410.04
    * Inlet: ¾” thread PVC pipe
    * Recommended water level: 5 ¼” to 6 ¾” (a stable water level will increase performance and decrease adjustments)

    Tunze 9410.04 Hydrofoamer

    * Needle-wheel impeller
    * Skimmer and pump footprint: 11” x 9”
    * Airdraw: ~400 lph @ 12 watts in 6 ¼” water depth

    Talk to John, great guy, great store.

    I'll post a review here when I get it with pics, start to finish. There are extensive threads, pictures, and reviews over on RC but none so far on 3reef that I can tell. I'll get a thread started here. They are very good skimmers, I've seen a couple in person and I've been impressed. Skimmer was $450+ shipping.

    Note, my Bullet 1 will be for sale for $215 plus shipping when I get the I-Tech. Comes with Mag 12, skimmer body, waste container, ball valve, plumbing kit is less than 6 months old and the unit was refurbed at PM before I got it. The collection cup had a small crack that was repaired by PM, you can't even tell it is there, no leaks. Maybe someone else will have better luck with it than me.

    Loving the I-Tech. It's been running for 3 days now, and this is what it did in less than 10 hours on my 75 gallon (emptied this morning, this is all from today). I expect the skimmate to become darker as it breaks in, but this is amazing. Water is clearer than ever.

    I thought I had started early when I saw the collection container, haha. It's wet skimming like mad. I need to adjust down a bit so it's not so wet, which will darken up the skimmate a bit. Tank water is crystal clear.

    Awesome. Do you have it at the proper level. I'm sure you know what it is for the I-Tech, just asking. Looks good. Isn't that big tower of bubbles cool?

    Right now I have it at 6.5 inches. Up to 6 3/4 is good. I'm lowering the water level in the cone just a little bit, then will wait and see how it reacts. Just a bit of tweaking will have it where it needs to be I think :)

    I love the tower of bubbles - so smooth, lol. It's so QUIET. Just a trickle.
