Oh yea. John has himself a repeat customer. I've gotten my 100 dialed in and it makes me gag (literally) when I empty it. Dude, it's like the poop from the creature from the black lagoon.

Haha well that sounds pleasant!! I'm definitly dreading the collection cup of my new skimmer. Yours will be reeeeally fun! Good way to scare away people you don't want in your house. Bust out the collection cup.

LOL I was thinking about doing that actually - but it's going to take quite some time to get things rolling.

Financially, it's a hefty build. Time - I don't have much. Kind of works out. I can put together the funds during the couple months I will have no time to work on the tank. Get some planning done in the evenings, etc.

Saw those when I was at the store. Awesome skimmers, pumps, all around great product.

There is a vanity mod they offer that makes them glow blue 8) - check out the one in the sump that's glowing. I may just have to outfit my pump with those lol... nice way of lighting the sump ;D

Very nice. And it is really good to hear of a good company, good owner, and happy customers. Yuo will have plenty of skimmer. Those Askoll/Lagunas are pushing 100 scfh. That is 3 times what I have on my 90g right now.

I want to move in a coupel of years. It would be best to coordinate with a move. I know what I want in the future, but right now I just have to let it grow for a coupel of years. If I'm still into at that point, I'll dive in on he bigger tank.

Honestly, I was just thinking last night I might pitch in the powel. Too much time. I'm a little OCD..... then I got home and fed the fish.... it's so cool. My stuff is growing coloring.... I'll see if I'm in for the long haul before I go bigger. Your tank is going to be insane.

So what are your living arangements. Are you going to do this in an apartment? You staying there a while?

I've thought about throwing in too. But when you sit back and watch the tank ... I can't let go of the hobby either. Especially my tang and clownfish. Those guys are my buddies, lol ;D All my fish are so personable, so I know what you mean :)

It's never to early to start planning. You can purchase the tank, equipment, etc. as you find good deals and hold them until you move, maybe?

I'm most likely staying put for a while. I live in an apartment, but I have it written into the lease I can have whatever size tank I want provided I have renters insurance, which I do. If I do move, the next apartment will have the same - or I won't move there. Moving a 75 won't be too hard. Moving the next beast ... well ... that's gonna take a few grown dudes, suction cups, and a case of beer.
