We would like pics please. :D

Alot of people underestimate the powers of Tennessee. We're not all redneck southern accent goobers. :D

lol, so far I've found TN to be very friendly. I'm going to the Middle Tennessee Reef Club meeting tomorrow and will pick up more frags there. I'll get some pics up soon, I've just been busy unpacking and working quite a bit getting settled.

So far I'm very happy with the growth under the Odyssea lights. I wouldn't ever believe that the Kenya tree would grow half an inch and add several branches in less than a week, and that the Xenia would pop out another 7-8 polyps (little babies) in the same amount of time. Pics will come very soon :) I picked up a orange Diamond Goby today - he was sifting sand happily at the store and is acclimating now. Pretty little goby, hopefully he's a good janitor.

Thanks - so far so good :) I will take pics later tonight when the MH kick on, I can't seem to take very good ones under actinics. Will be nice and clear with the halides running though.

Some new pics - tank very much is still in progress, and another 50 pounds of rock is should be here in a week or so.

well...it looks like progress anyways :D Hahaha. Can't wait to see that 50 lbs of rock added though, then it'll look like something 3reef worthy! Congrats on the mostly successful move.

Went to the middle Tennessee reef club meeting today - lots of nice interesting folks there. Picked up a frag of green star polyps, they're starting to open up nice in my tank. Also picked up 30 pounds of Hawaiian reef rock for $1 per pound (base rock, needs cleaned) - nice shapes, very porous. Currently soaking, will scrub tomorrow, soak in bleach for a day or two, then soak in RO water for another few days before I add to the tank.

Picking up a Coralife II RO-DI 50 gpd unit Tuesday with an inline TDS meter from Bulk Reef Supply (shows in/out TDS levels) with pressure gauge. No more buying RO-DI water - my evaporation is about 1.5 gallons per day. I'll be setting up the current Brute trash can to hold fresh top off water, and a second brute with salt water for water changes. Hooking the two up so I just have to open the valve to transfer fresh into the salt water can and then mix.

I'm in the process of the inevitable algae bloom (new tank syndrome again ... dang it). Placing an order for a good sized cleanup crew from Reefcleaners, I need another 50 snails or so. I think I see some cyano started too, which sucks and is confusing because my tank has unbelievable water flow. Nitrates are around 15 right now.

My new goby is out and about and cleaning some diatoms off my sand - his den is finally complete.

Picked up a Coralife II 50GPD RO/DI unit today, with inline TDS meter and pressure gauge. Water reading at 0 TDS out. Finally - no buying water anymore :D
