    Hello everyone.

I am looking to add some more corals to my tank. I really want to add some Zoas. My tank is 98 gallons with 4 96w power compact bulbs (with reflectors). I know people say power compact are horrible but with 3.8w per gal they can't be that bad can they?

Currently I have Neon Green Star Polyps (a softie) I got from WWC that has been growing like crazy. They are pretty close to the bottom. I also have a couple xenia frags that are doing well. I have had the Xenia for a couple months now. I also have a kenya tree that is growing and budding, which I read is a sign it isn't getting enough light, but it is on the very bottom of the tank.

I just bought two SPS corals two days ago. A pink birds nest and a green birds nest. I started with the green birds nest about even with the GSP which are growing like crazy, and the pink as high up as possible. It is probably too early to tell but the pink seems to be doing fine in its spot. The green birds nest started to decline so I moved it up higher (equal with pink) earlier today so we will see if it recovers.

I really want to add some more corals next pay day. Should I wait a while and see how my birds nests do?

softies and zoas will do fine as well as will shrooms, Birdsnests are one of the easiest to keep sps so it'll probably be fine towards the top of the tank also

Thanks for the reply. Are there any concerns with stocking corals too quickly? They don't add to the bio load like fish do right?

Corals do not add much of a bioload. They are not like fish.
