i just made a purchase from reef cleaners and John suggested 50 dwarf ceriths and 20 florida and i only have a 45g
the tiny blue leg or the Marshall Island electric blue???
$400 for the tank then $50 for LS and then i gradually added 50 lbs. of LR at anywhere from 5.99-11.99 per pund
do you have any other kids that can buy you LR and LS to get the tank setup???
you had it for years and it just started growing???? i have ahd mine for a few weeks and it is out of control
if you plan on a nem then you will need T5 or stronger(halide)
when i had PC and T5 i went with the T5 which was my actnic on at 1:30 off at 10 and the PC was on at 2:30 and off at 9:15. now i only have the PC...
i have a 45g with one 96w PC and have a candy cane LPS that sits at about the middle of the tank you should be fine since zoas dont need very strong...
as long as the water level is high enough in the sump to produce enough bubbles for skimmate i have a BAK PAK and i was going to try it in a sump...
it didnt look like anything was stuck but i just pulled all the pieces out and put it back together and it started working
tore it a part and put it back together now it is working again
i will try that in a min
i just cant believe it only lasted this long for $30. i have been praising these PHs well nont anymore
i have well had a K #1 for about a month and a half and it just stopped working today. i have no idea why or what happened to it
i haven't seen nass. snail trails but i think the egg trails look kinda cool
i used to have a pump that was rated at 782gph but after healdoss the flow rate was only 502 or 529 i cant remember
is that the rating of the pump or the rating of the overflow???
i agree with kgross. magroves are slow growers which means slow nitrate consumption. chaeto grows very fast and will remove nitrates much faster
what is the flow back into the tank form your sump???
my father in law has three nems and they are almost constantly on the move but look very healthy
